Today is my last day of being pregnant with our sweet little Baby G. We head into tomorrow excited, anxious, scared, hopeful, nervous, and faithful. We know that God will be walking with us tomorrow and carrying us when we can't do it ourselves. We know that each of you are faithfully praying for us as we travel along on this journey and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support. We are eagerly looking forward to meeting our sweet little boy and can not wait to welcome him to our family with the help of our parents tomorrow. He is already loved by so many and has an amazing group of family and friends awaiting his arrival. We will try our best to post an update as soon as we can but please patient with us as tomorrow is probably going to be a very crazy day. We go in tomorrow morning at 6:00AM and it just depends on how things progress as to when he is actually born. Upon his arrival he will spend just a little bit of time with us and then he will be taken to the CICU where he will be evaluated and several tests will be run to confirm his heart defect. We know that once he is settled into the CICU we will be able to go and spend time with him but we don't really know how long that will be or how we will be feeling after the delivery.
Please continue to pray that we may feel a peace that passes all understanding tomorrow and especially lift up Baby G as we welcome him into the world tomorrow.

Rolf,Holly and Baby G, I feel as i have been given a window to your souls, thank you for sharing so much or your hearts. I was so sorry to hear of baby Gs heart defect. We are praying continually that god provides the strength needed to face each new challenge as it comes your way. Our hearts will be with you and your son as he braves his way into this world and then again as he braves his way thru surgery. Rolf, I must say, you picked a very beautiful wife, not only in outward appearance but also with a beautiful spirit. I have never met her, and yet I can tell that Gods love shines through her. Hopefully, someday we will all reconnect and I will finally have a chance to meet her. Until that day, you will all be in our prayers. We love you!!!!! Hol and Rolf - I'm so excited to welcome Baby G into the world and have him become an honorary Gina :) I am thinking and praying for you both, for your parents and family, and for the many people who will be taking care of you all over the next few days.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your journey with all of us. It has truely been a blessing to all of us to read about two wonderful God filled young people with such faith. It seems like only yesterday I entered the hospital to face the birth of my first born which had its complications. He is 28 now and more special and more wonderful than he was to us on that special day.
Holly, Teresa and I shared our special weekend together in March 2000 and I have been blessed to be able to share prayers, family events and weekends with both Walt and Teresa since. Your family has been a wonderful blessing to many people since then as they have shared their pains, thoughts and prayers with many of us.
My prayers have been with you along your journey and will continue to be with you as you experience the joys, ups and downs of the next few days and weeks.
